Osasuna visits Mocay headquarters

Club president Luis Sabalza led the group as he wanted to thank the Navarrese company for its support

Club Atlético Osasuna visited the facilities of Mocay, an official club sponsor, on Thursday. Club president Luis Sabalza led the delegation, which also included players and coaching staff. Mocay has been a sponsor since October, when it signed a partnership agreement with the Navarrese club through 2028.

“We are very grateful to Mocay for its support of Osasuna’s project. We wanted to return that gratitude with a visit to its roasting plant and learn more about this Navarrese company. It has been very interesting to see how coffee is made. I’ve seen the players very engaged during the visit, and these kinds of experiences that bring the team closer to its sponsors are always very positive. They help players understand the work behind the companies that choose to support Osasuna,” Sabalza said.

Following the morning training session, head coach Alessio Lisci and his players traveled to Mocay’s roasting facility in Tajonar’s Talluntxe industrial park. Upon arrival, Mocay’s team, led by roasting plant director Teresa Beldarrain, welcomed the delegation before a group photo. The squad then took a guided tour of the facility, where they learned firsthand about Mocay’s artisanal coffee production process.

Beldarrain thanked the club for the visit: “It has been a pleasure to welcome Osasuna’s squad to our Tajonar roasting facility. Mocay will continue to evolve in 2026 without losing its Navarrese essence, promoting the economic and social development of this region, which is so important to us.”

The visit concluded with players and staff taking part in a tasting of various coffee varieties, led by barista Diego Campos, who shared tips for brewing the perfect cup. Mocay is Osasuna’s official coffee and is served at all bars inside El Sadar, as well as in its hospitality areas.
